The Slovenia-Israel Governmental Accelerator brings together startups and industry leaders for collaborative one-on-one business meetings and a Final Expo and Pitch Event to present their ventures to top-of-the-field investors, government officials, and industry leaders. This program provides an unparalleled opportunity for early-stage Slovenian startups to gain access to global stakeholders and capital.

In a market saturated with startup accelerators, the Slovenia-Israel Governmental Accelerator stands out for a few reasons.
First, we conduct a rigorous startup selection process, attracting top investors to our programs and ensuring that startups are well-suited for the program so they can get the most out of it.
Second, we offer hundreds of one-on-one meetings with global investors, industry leaders, academic and research institutions, and government officials, connecting selected Slovenian startups with the advanced Israeli tech ecosystem and creating global industry connections and invaluable opportunities for collaboration.
Third, participating startups have a unique opportunity to present their ventures at the program’s Expo & Pitch Event in the heart of Israel’s business district, attracting the attention of Israeli innovators and investors.
Fourth, we follow up with our program graduates’ months after the program, assisting them in maintaining meaningful connections and securing investments.

Joining our program offers numerous advantages, including access to industry experts, networking opportunities with potential investors and mentors, and tailored business development support. We provide resources and guidance to accelerate your growth, enhance your product development, and expand your market reach.
We expect participating startups to commit to active engagement throughout the program. This includes attending scheduled meetings and networking events. Additionally, we require transparency in sharing progress updates and challenges, as this enables us to offer targeted support.
Our commitment to your startup extends beyond the program’s duration. We offer ongoing support through our alumni network, continued access to mentors, and opportunities for further funding introductions. We aim to build a lasting relationship that supports your growth and success.
We respect the intellectual property rights of all participants. The IP developed before and during the program remains with the startup. However, it’s important to understand the specific terms outlined in our agreement, especially regarding any collaborations with mentors or other startups that might arise during the program.
While our program does not take equity, there are some costs related to business development and investment opportunities. These will be clearly outlined in the startup participation agreement, ensuring transparency about any expenses involved in the program.
Participation in this stage is fully sponsored. It’s important to note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the program. Approved startups for the program will be responsible for covering their travel, accommodations, and food costs for the duration of the program. In addtion, approved startups for the scale up program will be required to sign a participation agreement, including a success fee (5%) for any sales and/or business development agreement.
The program begins with a intensive one-week in-person session in Jerusalem, Israel, focused on business meetings, After this, selected startups enter the second stage, where they can participate either remotely or from our physical hub. This stage offers tailored mentorship and development opportunities.
Yes, selected startups have access to our high-end office hub. This provides an opportunity to be part of a dynamic community and use excellent facilities. Details regarding the use of this space will be clearly outlined in the startup participation agreement.
